Hypertension is a clinical symptom, not a disease name. About 80 ~ 90% of hypertension is caused by hypertension. Hypertension is a high blood pressure as its main clinical manifestations of a disease, due to etiology is not known as essential hypertension, some referred to as hypertension. In addition, about 10 to 20% of hypertension is due to nephritis, hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma and other diseases as a secondary symptom of a manifestation. Hypertension symptoms are dispensable in these conditions and can be temporary or permanent. In order to avoid confusion between the latter and the former concept, it is also referred to as the latter being secondary to hypertension or symptomatic hypertension.
