Shaanxi is located in two major river basins, the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, and its hydraulic resources are relatively abundant. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China for 50 years, hydropower has made great progress. This article mainly discusses the 50-year history and achievements of hydropower development in Shaanxi Province.
