据悉,我国一年一度的著名特产大闸蟹,自秋季开始收获上市以来,由于价格较高等原因使内地消费数量有限,故产地安徽、江苏、上海、浙江、湖南及广东等各地的大闸蟹便纷纷运往供应香港市场,致使香港许多地方曾一度满街都是大闸蟹,由于货源丰裕而导致价格大跌。据介绍,从1999年10月初以来,甚至只需18至20港元就可买到一只一般大闸蟹,有的食肆低至10元港币一只。当地有些批发商称,1999年的蟹价大跌三分之一,简直是近几年来未见过的事
