Teaching design ideas In the May Fourth Patriotic Movement teaching, most teachers pay more attention to the analysis of the background and influence of the May 4th Movement and pay less attention to the narrative of the May 4th Movement. In my opinion, this is not in line with the principle of teaching history education in secondary schools. For history education in middle schools, grasping historical facts is the most basic requirement. Historical understanding based on historical facts will be more realistic and profound. Therefore, I would like to use the historical materials as a basis to try to restore as much as possible in the teaching of the May 4th Patriotic Movement
