自制力是指导一个人控制自己的情绪、约束自己言行的能力。这种意志品质的发展对于儿童遵守纪律,适应小学课堂学习是极为重要的。不少小学教师反映,从幼儿园升入小学的学生,知识面宽,思维活跃,表达能力强,但纪律性差,注意力不易集中,小动作多,不能系统、扎实地掌握知识。这里虽有小学低年级教学形式如何与幼儿园衔接的问题,但也说明了在幼儿园大班,加强对儿童自制力培养的重要性。为了探索培养幼儿自制力的条件,我们以天津市和平区第十一幼儿园大班30名幼儿为对象,采用观察、实验的方法,进行了调查研究:
Self-control is the ability to guide one’s control of one’s own emotions and to constrain one’s own words and actions. This development of the will quality is extremely important for children to observe disciplines and adapt themselves to classroom learning in primary schools. Many primary school teachers reported that students who went to primary school from kindergarten had a wide range of knowledge, active thinking and strong presentation skills. However, they were not good at disciplinary matters, were not attentive and concentrated in small movements, and could not systematically and solidly acquire knowledge. Although there is a problem of how primary forms of lower grades connect with kindergartens, it also shows the importance of nurturing children’s self-control in big classes in kindergartens. In order to explore the conditions for cultivating children’s self-control, we investigated and studied 30 young children in the eleventh kindergarten in Heping District, Tianjin, using observation and experiment methods:
