Recently, the Silver Fox Cave in Fangshan District of Beijing was designated as the Jingxi Geological Museum by relevant departments, making this Beijing suburban scenic spot not only the cultural value of sightseeing but also the value of scientific research and popular science education. In fact, there are not many underground caves on the outskirts of Beijing, such as the Cloud Water Cave, Stone Flower Cave and so on. Can be said to be colorful, each has its advantages and disadvantages. The difference is that Silver Fox Cave, in addition to its ghostly artifact like stalactites, criss-cross, underground maze-like caves, it also has a mysterious underground river. As of now, it is the only underground river found in the entire North China. The Silver Fox Cave was developed in the Ordovician limestone many years ago. The cave space was formed over millions of years and is the only open water and dry hole in North China.
