我国南海之滨,珠江出口港叉分歧、岛屿罗列,澳门便是南海沿岸的一个小半岛,属广东省香山县(中山县)诸海港之一。它原来是一个小渔村,明嘉靖三十二年(1553),葡萄牙人用欺骗的手段混入居住;万历六年(1578)用贿赂手段非法霸占。明中叶以后,澳门对外贸易迅速发展,成为广州对外贸易的外港和西方殖民主义国家在东方最大的贸易中心。珠海南端的拱北与澳门半岛相连结,万历二年(1574),明政府在澳门与珠海连接处莲花茎上建立关闸,派官员把守。天启六年(1621),明政府又在前山建军寨,立参将府,以限制日益众多的葡人扩占土地。四百多年来关闸仍在,但两地的经济交往从未中断。珠海以及珠江三角洲社会经济的发展是澳门对外贸易发展的物质基础,而澳门对外贸易的发展又影响和刺激着珠海及珠江三角洲的经济发展。本文就澳门与珠海经济往来作一历史回顾,为今天加强澳门与珠海之间的经济协调提供历史借鉴。

After the middle of the Ming Dynasty, Macao’s foreign trade developed rapidly and became the largest trading center in the East for the outer port of Guangzhou’s foreign trade and the western colonialist country. Gongbei at the southern tip of Zhuhai is linked with the Macao Peninsula. In Wanli’s second year (1574), the Ming government set up a barrier at the lotus stem at the junction of Macao and Zhuhai, sending officials to guard it. Apocalypse six years (1621), the Ming government and the former army Jianzhai Zichang legislation government, in order to limit the growing number of Portuguese people to expand and occupy the land. For more than 400 years, the barrier gate is still underway. However, the economic contacts between the two places have never stopped. The economic and social development in Zhuhai and the Pearl River Delta is the material basis for the development of Macao’s foreign trade. The development of Macao’s foreign trade also affects and stimulates the economic development of Zhuhai and the Pearl River Delta. This article makes a historical review of the economic exchanges between Macao and Zhuhai, and provides historical references for strengthening the economic coordination between Macao and Zhuhai today.
