民主革命时期,土默特地区的革命任务与内蒙古其他地区及全国的情形一样。当地蒙汉等民族具有同样的命运,即抗击国外势力的侵略,反抗国内统治者压迫,进而获得解放,以追求自由、幸福的生活。共同的命运,将传统的民族团结赋予了新内容,体现在革命斗争的不同时期。特别是中国共产党成立以后,土默特地区的各族人民在大革命、土地革命、抗日战争、解放战争时期,精诚团结、密切合作,谱写了具有不同时代特点的关于民族团结的历史篇章。 During the democratic revolution, the revolutionary tasks in the Tumut area were the same as in other parts of Inner Mongolia and the whole country. The local ethnic groups such as Mongolian and Han both have the same fate, that is, they resist the aggression of the foreign forces, oppress the rulers of the country, and gain liberation in pursuit of a free and happy life. The common destiny, which has given traditional national unity to new content, is embodied in different periods of the revolutionary struggle. After the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, in particular, the people of all nationalities in the Tumote region wrote their historical chapters on national unity featuring different times according to their solidarity and close cooperation in the Great Revolution, the Agrarian Revolution, the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War.
