用金属型制作有色合金件时,常要用到排气塞。通常制作排气塞多在钢(铜)圆柱面上割出气道,然后和型腔(芯)紧配合。这就要求排气孔和排气塞的制作都要有较高的加工精度,制作起来较麻烦。我厂采用粗细合适的钢(铁)丝,按需要截取一定长度,将其一端锉平,另一端砸扁,即制成了排气塞。见图1。然后测得其直径d,选取同直径的钻头在型腔(芯)上钻出排气孔。最后将图1中的排气塞按图2装入型腔(芯)的排气孔中即可。
