Two of these patients were excluded from follow-up visits of less than 3 months In addition to the study, the remaining 11 patients, mean age 58 years (range, 25-84 years), had laryngoscope fixation of the vocal cord paralysis at the abduction site, 6 on the right and 5 on the left, with all patients preoperatively for at least 3 months Sound recovery
