《王安石的山水》本来是一个个展计划,这个项目可以看作是展览的前传。项目的目的当然不是去索引和还原历史,而是基于当代性是另一种回溯和历史重读的解读,涉及的核心问题仍是绕不开的艺术或文化与政治的命题。作为当代艺术的实践者,在公共政治成为艺术创作意识的共识下,如何回应穿透传统及对立辩证的西方系统,这个看似困难重重的任务至少要成为我们思考的起点。
“Landscape of Wang Anshi” was originally a solo show. This project can be regarded as the prequel to the exhibition. The purpose of the project, of course, is not to index and restore history, but to interpret it based on contemporaryity as another retrospective and historical rereading. The core issues involved are still the topics of art or culture and politics that can not be separated. As a practitioner of contemporary art, under the common understanding that public politics has become the awareness of art creation, how to respond to the Western system penetrating the traditional and dialectical dialectics seems at least the starting point for our thinking.
