上海当代艺术馆与意大利普拉托市的路吉·佩奇当代艺术中心,于2006年7月22日至8月29日联合主办“质变的年代——佩奇基金会欧洲当代艺术收藏展”。这次展览由路吉·佩奇当代艺术中心永久藏品部策划,展品并不局限于意大利作品,而是展现20世纪80年代以来整个欧洲当代艺术的面貌。“质变的年代”以欧洲当代艺术为焦点,选取了来自意大利、俄罗斯、奥地利、法国、英国、瑞士、比利时和荷兰等国艺术家的作品,包容欧洲当代艺术中不同的潮流与风格。它向我们揭示了欧洲当代艺术中的各种各样的主题,也展现了20世纪80年代以来欧洲艺术的视野。这次展览是“意大利文化年”的活动之一,上海当代艺术馆希望通过这次展览,把欧洲的当代艺术介绍给中国的观众,并推动中国当代艺术的发展。
Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art and Luigi Page Center for Contemporary Art, Prato, Italy, co-sponsored July 22 to August 29, 2006, “The Age of Change - The Page Foundation’s Collection of European Contemporary Art ”. The exhibition, curated by the Permanente Collection of the Luigi Page Center for Contemporary Art, is not limited to works of art in Italy, but rather the face of contemporary European art throughout the 1980s. The era of qualitative change focuses on European contemporary art. The works of artists from Italy, Russia, Austria, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium and the Netherlands are selected to embody the different trends and styles in European contemporary art. It reveals to us a wide variety of topics in European contemporary art and also shows the European art vision since the 1980s. This exhibition is one of the activities of “Year of Italian Culture”. The Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art hopes to introduce European contemporary art to Chinese audience and promote the development of Chinese contemporary art through this exhibition.
