在建国初期的文坛上,“朱定”这个名字并不陌生。共和国的第一次文艺大批判,就是从对包括他的《关连长》在内的几部作品的批判开始的。从此,朱定走上了一条坎坷而又曲折的创作道路,文革中还险些被砍了脑袋。直到粉碎“四人帮”后,他的创作热情才真正勃发起来,闯进了涉外题材的新领域,为我们摄取了一组表现改革开放生活的连续性镜头。他在这些作品中,既不回避我们在体制上的弊端,又注重表现我们在制度上的优越,对中国,对外国实事求是,一分为二,表现出艺术上的胆识和现实主义的创作态度,具有独特的思想意义和美学价值。
