Based on the different geographical environments of the continent, this paper divides five regions and presents the evidence of archaeological discoveries related to the origin of agriculture in each region. The five regions include the Nile Basin, the Sahara and its north, sub-Saharan savannah areas, the margins of tropical rain forests, Ethiopia and the South African plateau. Through the analysis of the time of the relevant evidence and the analysis of the differences in crop types, we can sort out the routes and processes of the origin and spread of agriculture in Africa, and then think that the origin of agriculture in Africa is caused by external influences but mainly in the sub-Saharan Africa. Direct input of crop varieties.
