白血病是以造血组织的系统性肿瘤性增生为基本特征的疾病。自从1845年Bennett 和 Virchow 对白血病进行了描述以来,至今已有一百多年的历史,已证实引起白血病的因素主要有雌激素、致癌的碳氢化合物、放射线和病毒等。1943年Burth 和 Boon 曾证实致癌的碳氢化合物如甲基胆蒽与放射线在诱发小鼠白血病方面具有协同作用,然而到目前为止,关于病毒与其他致癌因子在致白血病方面的协同作
Leukemia is a disease characterized by systemic neoplastic hyperplasia of hematopoietic tissue.
