MC 型低速柴油机,是曼恩·B&W 公司的系列产品,也是大型船舶选用主机的重要对象。自从1982年第一台 L-MC 型机问世以来,由于燃油耗量较低,深受用户信赖。近几年来,又获得了较大的发展。该公司为了进一步满足船舶市场的需要,在取得使用经验的基础上,继续开发了 K-MC 和 S-MC 型机种。又通过选用不同的缸径尺寸,迅速布满了船舶需用的功率范围,同时,也缩小了原定功率的间隔档次,更好地适应了不同船型的匹配要求。为了进一步降低燃油耗量,又开发出涡轮混合系统,简称为 TCS 系统,经过实船使用证明,性能比较满意,这是八十年代以来新近开发出来的一个较为突出的新型机种。
The MC type low-speed diesel engine is a series product of Mann B&W Company and is also an important target for the selection of main engines for large ships. Since the first L-MC machine was introduced in 1982, it has been trusted by users because of its low fuel consumption. In recent years, it has gained greater development. In order to further meet the needs of the ship market, the company continued to develop K-MC and S-MC models based on its experience. By selecting different bore sizes, the power range required by the ship is quickly filled, and at the same time, the gap level of the original power is also reduced, and the matching requirements of different ships are better adapted. In order to further reduce fuel consumption, we have developed a turbine hybrid system, or TCS for short, which has been proved to be satisfactory by the use of real ships. This is a more prominent new model developed since the 1980s.
