Giovanni Boccaccio had an interesting story in the Decameron: a boy who had never touched a woman before growing up, and one day saw a beautiful woman whose father lied to her as “ Green Goose, ”a“ troublesome water, ”and warned his son to stay away from her. To his surprise, his son had a wish of“ bringing a green goose back ”. Boccaccio used this simple story to start the first warmth of the instinct of the opposite sex and attraction of the modern civilization, and to appreciate the beauty of the feminine has thus become a completely different moral concept in western art from the sensual abandonment of the Middle Ages.
