店主偷窃了住店客人的银子,拒不承认,因为没有人证物证,店主的妻子也不给官府交付赃银,办案县官在店主的手心里写了一个“赢”字,让店主的妻子乖乖地交出了赃银。清朝的冯晟在其《谈屑》中记载了这样一个案件。偷银清朝时候,有个人住在一个私人开设的店铺里,丢失了50两银子。因为客房里没有住宿其他客人,也没有来过其他人。这个房客就断定是店主两口子偷窃了自己的银子。但是,店主两口子拒不承认。房客没有办法,只能告到县府衙门。但房客拿不出任何证据,店主又不承认,官府因此感到很棘手。
