As one of the founding fathers and Moki of Chinese modern literature, Hu Shi has become an important topic in the academic discussion in literary revolution, literary creation, literary criticism and other achievements. The compilation work of Hu Shi anthology has been in a state of renewal and improvement due to the continuous excavation of historical materials. Due to the differences in time and space, some of his works have yet to be further studied. The two correspondences covered in this article are the old works of Hu Shi who have been overseas for many years. In the early 20th century, when Hu Shi studied at Cornell University, he noticed that few university libraries in the United States seldom collect Chinese books, restricting the spread of Chinese culture and literature abroad.
