叶圣陶先生说过:“学语文主要靠学生自己读书,自己领悟。”《语文课程标准》也指出:要充分地扩大学生的识字量,教师除了要帮助学生掌握教科书上要求的音、形、义都会的生字外,还要巧妙引导学生利用课外学习资源,培养学生自主识字的意识和习惯,让学生认识更多的字;还要让学生喜欢学习汉字,有主动识字的愿望。因此,认真研究和探索小学生自主识字的方法,就成为教改的一个重要课题。
