丰田生产方式(TPS)中有5个通常被公认的制造系统是当前的制造系统设计。TPS 的功能与运营和其他制造体系有所不同。TPS 比普通的功能型加工车间制造系统在各方面都使用更少的东西。另外,TPS 的应用可以让缺陷更少,因而提高质量。TPS的基本原理是:制造和安装单元,推式生产理念,全部优质产品,准时供贷,尊重人,以及最大程度地优化不可折旧的资源——人员和原材料。丰田生产方式用它的单元制造子系统来提高生产力。单元制造子系统是柔性化的,而且是为生产高品质产品、准时、尽可能低的成本、连续的基准而设计的。本文报阐述了将一个美国的沙发制造工厂转变成一个应用丰田制造系统的工厂的研究。
There are five commonly recognized manufacturing systems in Toyota Production Systems (TPS) that are current manufacturing system designs. The function and operation of TPS and other manufacturing systems are different. TPS uses less than any other functional manufacturing shop floor system in every respect. In addition, the use of TPS allows for fewer defects and therefore higher quality. The basic principles of TPS are: manufacturing and installing units, pushing production concepts, all good products, timely loan repayments, respecting people, and optimizing non-depreciable resources - people and raw materials. Toyota Manufacturing uses its unit manufacturing subsystems to increase productivity. Unit manufacturing subsystems are flexible and are designed to produce high-quality products on time, at the lowest possible cost, with continuous benchmarks. This article describes the study of converting a U.S. sofa manufacturing plant into a factory that uses Toyota’s manufacturing system.
