In an era of industrialization, the essential goal of establishing schools is to train workers rather than to train scholars. Students go to the factory after graduating from school. The factory does not need innovative learners. What is needed is a worker who obeys management. At this time, the relationship between the plant manager and the worker is more like the relationship between the teacher and the student, and the plant manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the assembly line. In other words, teachers must follow the schedule to complete the syllabus teaching, teaching has become a production line. Why is the education system so stubborn that the old ways of education are still used after 200 years of industrialization and what changes can be made?
