在免疫测定中常用放射性碘进行标记。作者建立了一种微量的、非放射性的碘标记测定法,并初步用于测定鼠IgG,获得了满意的结果。其原理是含碘的化合物(包括激素、蛋白质、药物和其它含碘的化合物),都可以催化“铈(Ce,4价)-砷(As,3价)”之间的反应,即2Ce~(4+)+As~(3+)(?)2Ce~(3+)+As~(5+)。这一反应只需微量的碘(pg 水平)参与即可进行,反应的产物仍可用现在常用的酶标读数仪测定。在非放射性碘的标记中所用的主要试剂,也是现在放射性碘标记中常用的试剂——Bolton-Hun-
Radioactive iodine is often used in immunoassays for labeling. The author established a trace, non-radioactive iodine labeling assay, and initially used for the determination of mouse IgG, and obtained satisfactory results. The principle is that iodine-containing compounds (including hormones, proteins, drugs and other compounds containing iodine) can catalyze the reaction between "cerium (Ce, (4 +) + As ~ (3 +) (?) 2Ce ~ (3 +) + As ~ (5+). This reaction can be carried out with only a small amount of iodine (pg level) involved, and the product of the reaction can still be measured with the now commonly used ELISA reader.
