I. INTRODUCTION Freezing is a special method of drilling a wellbore in an aquifer. The essence of this is that a circle of holes is drilled around the wellbore to be drilled, and a freezing pipe is placed on it so that the low-temperature salt water circulates therein, gradually cooling the rock layer, causing a certain thickness of the frozen wall to resist water and earth pressure and prevent the influx of flowing sand. Then drill the wellbore. Since China adopted the freezing method in 1955, more than 100 wellbores have been built under complex hydrogeological conditions and many experiences have been accumulated. The frozen method of sinking in the future is still one of the main methods to cure the quicksand and fissured rock in the well construction project [1].
