This article reports the application of a new method, the video enhancement method, to assess the left ventricular wall segment motion in 80 patients with ischemic heart disease and 17 healthy individuals. This technique uses a temporally sliding analysis that evaluates the cardiac cycle at intervals of 100 milliseconds. Coronary artery diameter
