Qin Zhaoyang has been dead for four years, I often think of some things in life and miss him. During the spring and summer of 1980, at the working conference for editing the national literary periodicals for the first time after the founding of the Republic, I first met Qin Zhaoyang. This will be held in Beijing for about half a month. The chief editors, deputy chief editors and editors of literary publications of various provinces and municipalities attending the meeting will have a total of about 100 people. During the meeting, Qin Zhaoyang and I although different in a large group, but we eat and live in the State Department Xiyuan Guest House, can be seen day and night. At that time, Qin Zhaoyang was over years of age, his hair was white, his tunic was wearing a blue cloth, and his black-faced cloth shoes gave me the impression that he was like a high school teacher or primary school principal in rural areas His grandfather and father were both private school teachers in rural areas. Qin Zhaoyang himself taught in primary schools after graduating from Wuchang country school.) I take the initiative to go to know him, have a brief conversation with him, feel he treats others as frank, easy-going.
