蔡和森作为早期的马克思主义理论家、宣传家 ,在第一次国共合作时期 ,自始至终地参与了我党对国共合作大政方针的制定。他以反对与国民党合作 ,到以个人身份加入国民党 ,并以《向导》为阵地 ,发表了一系列宣传国共合作的文章 ,提出了一系列关于国共合作的理论原则 ,不仅丰富了其统战思想 ,而且对建立革命统一战线 ,促成和巩固第一次国共合作 ,都作出了重大贡献
Cai Hesen, an early Marxist theorist and propagandist, participated in the formulation of our party’s policy on the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party throughout the first Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. He opposed the opposition to cooperation with the Kuomintang, to join the Kuomintang in his personal capacity, and “guidance” as a front ground, published a series of articles promoting the cooperation between the KMT and the CPC, put forward a series of theoretical principles on cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, not only enriched his idea of united front, But also made a significant contribution to the establishment of a revolutionary united front and the promotion and consolidation of the first cooperation between the KMT and the CPC
