图示为苏联研制成功的一种夹紧装置(苏联发明证1161269),可在机械加工管子、套筒和空心零件时,按内径和端面来夹紧工件。该装置含有两个顶轴,在每个顶轴的夹具体1上沿圆周均布有球形凹槽,里面安装着卡爪2。片弹簧3使卡爪2保持在夹具体里,并且当从顶轴上卸下工件后,片弹簧3可使卡爪复位到原状。使用时,将左边的顶轴紧固到机床主轴上,而将右边的顶轴装入机床的尾座顶针套里,被加工零件则以内表面安装到左边顶轴的卡爪2上。当向左移动尾座顶针套时,两顶轴逐渐靠近,直到工件端面顶到卡爪的一个工作
