In the world park of the Expo, Shen Fangyuan (Figure 1), a Chinese garden designed by the Park of Shenyang City, was exhibited. At the same time, there are gardens in the United States, the Federal Republic of Germany, and Japan. Shen Fangyuan was presented as a mutual gift to the sister cities of Shenyang and Zha. It was presented to the Japanese exhibition at the expo. The garden was designed in the form of a Chinese garden. It was constructed by China and Japan from October 1985 to June 1986. The terrain was finished, and the stone was dug, the pavilion was built, the water sluice, the flowering gate, and the planting were completed.
