Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of 24-hour dynamic EEG monitoring in children with non-epileptic seizures. Methods: A total of 133 children with non-epileptic seizures (convulsions, headache, fainting, night scares and nocturnal dribbling) were monitored by 24-hour dynamic EEG monitoring. EEG activity at various timings was analyzed. Results: Nonspecific abnormalities (25%) were convulsions in 12 cases (34%), headache in 11 cases (33%), Li Jue in 5 cases (21%), nocturnal shock in 4 cases (17% 11%). Epileptiform discharge 13 (10%): 5 cases of convulsions (14), 2 cases of headache (6%), 3 cases of syncope (12%), 2 cases of night scaring (9% . Non-specific abnormalities and the detection rate of epileptiform discharge in children with convulsions highest. Conclusion: 24-hour dynamic EEG monitoring is helpful for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of non-epileptic seizures in children.
