这里我想谈一下与有机化合物的实验式有关的一个小问题。一个新的化合物,经过元素分析后,就可以凑出它的实验式来。实验式中的氢原子有时只能是单数,有时却只能是双数。这虽然很简单,但恐怕有很多人不太注意,所以在文献上偶而还可以看到一些由此而产生的错误。含碳氢的化合物,都可以看作是甲烷(CH_4)的衍化物。在甲烷的碳与氢之间加入一些 CH_2,就可以形成直链化合物(A)。再在直链化合物的碳与氢之间加入一些 CH_2,就可以形成有支链的化合物(B)。若形成一个双键或形成一个环,就要减去二个氢,形成一个叁键就要减去四个氢。由此看来,仅含碳氢的化合物
