1 Introduction Ventilators have been used clinically for more than half a century as an emergency device. In the 1990s, the ventilator continued to develop intelligently, and the application of the computer made the performance of the ventilator more perfect. The performance status of a ventilator is directly related to the success or failure of the patient’s rescue. How to ensure that the ventilator is in a good state of performance at all times is an important part of hospital equipment management. We found in our daily work: (1) The ventilators are mostly used in emergency rescue situations. The medical staff must be prepared for the use of the ventilator before the patient is rescued. They are often prone to “scrappy”; (2) It is not possible to have a ventilator in every department. Sometimes a department needs more than one ventilator.
