PSA在4.0-10.0ng/ml灰色区域的前列腺癌组,血清锌ROC-AUC(receiver operator characteristic curve-area under curve)为66%,高于PSA的ROC-AUC。
Objective To investigate the relationship between serum copper and zinc levels and prostate cancer, and compare the serum level of prostate specific antigen (PSA) with that of serum prostate specific antigen (PSA) to explore its value in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods The levels of serum copper and zinc in 76 patients with prostate cancer, 125 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia and 191 healthy men were measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Results Serum zinc in prostate cancer group was significantly lower than that in healthy control group, serum copper and copper / zinc ratio was significantly higher than the healthy control group (P <0.05). There were no significant differences in serum copper and copper / zinc ratio between prostate cancer group and benign prostatic hyperplasia group. Serum zinc in prostate cancer group was lower than benign prostatic hyperplasia group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between benign prostatic hyperplasia group and healthy control group. The ratio of serum copper and copper / zinc in benign prostatic hyperplasia group was higher than that in healthy control group (P <0.05). PSA in 4.0-10.0 ng / ml gray area of the prostate cancer group, the serum zinc ROC-AUC (receiver operator characteristic curve-area under curve) 66%, higher than the ROC-AUC PSA. Conclusions The serum copper, copper / zinc ratio and serum zinc may be the risk factors of prostate cancer. The diagnostic efficiency of serum zinc in PSA (4.0 ~ 10.0) ng / ml gray area is higher than that of PSA, which may be prostate The diagnosis of cancer provides valuable indicators.
