昆明市盘龙区景星街和甬道街地处昆明市中心,是市区目前保留的几个老城街道之一,由于优越的地理位置,加上古城老街的文化灵气,使这里成为花鸟鱼虫、木雕石器、文房四宝、古玩雅物的交易场所,商贾云集、商品琳琅,人群摩肩接踵,为昆明市增添了一道绚丽的人文风景.然而,火魔并未因此而产生菩萨心肠,相反,火灾频频插足百姓家庭.近4年来,平均每年有2起火灾发生在这里,虽因发现及时,得到了有效的控制,未造成严重损失,但一次次给人们敲响了警钟,引起了昆明市各级政府和广大群众的广泛关注.
