笔者发现,打印色带在使用上存在很大的浪费。以 LQ—1600K打印机为例,打印时只使用色带中间约4毫米的狭窄部分,而色带宽约16毫米,这样近12毫米的空间部分被浪费掉了(理论上讲),实在可惜。 有一种简单易行的办法,将打印机护板稍加改进,就可以使一条色带顶两条使用。 方法是:将有机玻璃护板卸下,在打印头出口窗的两侧上方,用502胶分别粘上一块厚约3毫米的有机玻璃片,有机玻璃片的下沿与护板下沿距离为16毫米。按照原样装上护板,再将色带安装在两块有机玻璃片下方(见下图)。有机玻璃片的作用是将色带上部强行控制在打印头处,使打印头对准色带的上沿,打印时只使用色带上沿部分。待色带上部不行时再将包带倒过来用其下沿部分,这样一条色带可以使用两次。这种方法不影响打印机的正常功能。该方法已在LQ—1600K打印机上试验通过。
