中草药节育是计划生育科学技术措施的一个重要方面。它与其它节育措施互为补充,可因人选用。中草药副作用较小,易被接受,国内已将多种抗生育中草药试用于临床,为计划生育提供了方法,逐渐为国外所重视。近年来,由于新技术的广泛应用,国外对于包括中草药在内的植物药的研究速度大大加快,节育药的突破和重大成果均寄希望于中草药和传统药物的开发研究.
Herbal birth control is an important aspect of scientific and technological measures for family planning. It complements other birth control measures and can be used by people. The side effects of Chinese herbal medicine are relatively small and it is easy to be accepted. A variety of anti-fertility Chinese herbal medicines have been used in clinical trials in China to provide methods for family planning, and have gradually been paid attention to by foreign countries. In recent years, due to the wide application of new technologies, the speed of research on botanicals including Chinese herbal medicines has been greatly accelerated in foreign countries.
