大学生就业问题是当今社会关注的热点,而就业能力是学生能否找到满意工作的关键。“一带一路”战略的实施,为珠三角地区英语类专业大学生的就业带来了新的机遇和挑战。一方面,英语类专业大学生就业需求的新一轮增加,尤其是复合型人才紧缺,人才间的竞争加剧;另一方面,部分英语类专业大学生由于自身能力和学校培养方式等原因,无法满足“一带一路”战略下的人才需求,导致就业竞争力不强。针对这些问题,需要提升学生自身能力、改革学校课程和政府政策的支持,为学生就业创造良好的条件。
The employment of college students is a hot topic in today’s society, and employability is the key to whether students can find satisfactory jobs. The implementation of the “Belt and Road” strategy has brought new opportunities and challenges to the employment of English majors in the Pearl River Delta. On the one hand, there is a new round of increasing employment demand for English majors, especially due to the shortage of compound talents and the intensified competition among talents; on the other hand, some English majors can not meet the needs of their graduates because of their own abilities and school training methods, The demand for qualified personnel under the strategy of “One Belt and One Road” has led to a weak employment competitiveness. In response to these problems, students need to improve their own ability to reform the school curriculum and government policy support for students to create good conditions for employment.
