美国海军研制了对海监视和反潜战巡逻用的AN/APS—116雷达系统。系统的基本要求是可靠地从海杂波后向散射引起的强干扰信号中探测出潜望镜那样的小目标。雷达系统设计采用非常高的距离分辨力和快速扫描天线。信号处理采用扫描间去相关电路,利用N中取M门限实现目标检测。本文简要介绍了雷达的各组成部分,同时给出了系统性能的鉴定结果。
The U.S. Navy has developed the AN / APS-116 radar system for maritime surveillance and anti-submarine warfare patrols. The basic requirement of the system is to reliably detect such small targets as periscopes from strong interfering signals caused by backscattering of sea clutter. Radar system design uses very high range resolution and fast scanning antenna. The signal processing uses the inter-scanning correlation circuit, and uses the M threshold in N to achieve the target detection. This article gives a brief introduction of the radar components and gives the results of the system performance evaluation.
