Why does the Earth’s perimeter “almost exactly” be 40,000 kilometers, and the speed of light is not enough? “Almost exactly” equals 300,000 kilometers per second. When we talk about the speed of light, many people will think of a mouth that everyone is familiar with. :“If the aircraft is flying at the speed of light, it can circulate the earth seven and a half times per second.” This is because the circumference of the earth is almost exactly 40,000 kilometers, 7.5 x 40,000 kilometers = 300,000 kilometers, so the speed of light is almost exactly Second 300,000 kilometers. However, the curious classmates will wonder: Scientific figures should not use plausible terms such as “almost” or “like”. This is the biggest taboo of rhetoric. And how so cleverly, the perimeter of the earth is “just enough” to be 40,000 kilometers, and the speed of light is not much or “just enough” equal to 300,000 kilometers per second?
