国内外研究证明:田间施用磷钾肥料的利用率很低,一般磷肥利用率为10~25%,钾肥利用率为40~60%,其原因是大量可溶性磷钾素往往被土壤固定而成为难溶性的,因而作物无法吸收利用。此外土壤本身也含有大量植物不能直接吸收利用的难溶性磷钾素。据分析计算,如能把土壤中这些难溶性磷钾素设法加以利用,则在不施肥的情况下,磷可供作物营养12~30年,钾可供120~240年,因此活化和利用土壤中难溶性磷钾素,对缓和当前磷钾肥源缺乏和提高农作物产量具有很现实的意义。
