遗址发现和时代安徽省南陵县位于国务院新批准的长江沿线开放城市芜湖市以南44公里,我国著名六大铜矿基地之一的铜陵以东约40公里。它属长江中下游铜矿带,开发历史悠久,是我国古代铜矿采冶的先驱地之一。自1982年以来,在南陵大工山区,先后发现和发掘出古采矿点8处,采矿井3处,冶炼遗址25处,其中炼铜竖炉19座,矿石焙烧窑4座。又以戴镇乡江木冲冶铜遗址规模最大,面积达1.5平方公里,地表堆存炉渣约50万吨以上。若按每10吨炉渣可出1吨粗铜推算,这里就曾生产粗铜达5万吨以上,数字是惊人的。并采集到极珍贵的冰铜锭(CuS·FeS)10余块,被认为是由硫化铜矿石冶炼铜的佐证。为测定遗址年代,经中国社科院考古研究所进行C~(14)测定,确定为公元前805—540年,即西周中期至春秋晚期。因此,南陵大工山古铜矿采冶遗址的发现,不仅扩大了在我
Site Discovery and Times Nanling County, Anhui Province is located in the State Council approved the newly opened cities along the Yangtze River in Wuhu City, 44 km south of China’s famous six copper base one of about 40 km east of Tongling. It belongs to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River copper belt, the development has a long history, is one of the pioneers of ancient copper mining and metallurgy in China. Since 1982, in the Daling Mountain area in Nanling, 8 ancient mining sites, 3 mining mines and 25 smelting sites have been discovered and excavated successively, of which 19 are copper shaft furnaces and 4 are ore roasting kilns. In Dai Township Jiang Mu red copper ruins the largest, covering an area of 1.5 square kilometers, the surface of slag deposits about 500,000 tons or more.
