1. It can be used to identify starch products, including the variety and purity of foods and medicines, depending on the starch morphology of different plant species. 2. This paper describes the morphological characteristics of starch grains of 26 edible and medicinal starch-containing plants in northern China, and attaches four drawings. 3. In order to ensure the correctness of the study, the materials used in this observation were all purchased from the market for fruit, seeds, tuberous roots, or tubers; their powders were microscopically examined by water to determine the morphological characteristics of the starch.
