毛泽东精神是20世纪中华民族精神的集中体现和主要象征,是中国共产党领导中国人民争取民族独立和人民解放,推动中华民族进步与发展的强大精神支柱和精神动力。实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦,必须弘扬中国精神,需要进一步挖掘、诠释、提升中国精神的内涵。毛泽东精神不仅是当代中国精神的重要源泉,亦是构成当代中国精神的主要内容,是中华民族凝心聚力的兴国之魂、强国之魂。我们要在全面继承毛泽东精神的基础上,大力培育和弘扬当代中国精神,使之真正成为中华民族团结一心的精神纽带和自强不息的精神动力。
Mao Tse-Tung’s spirit is a concentrated embodiment and a major symbol of the Chinese nation’s spirit in the 20th century.
