A large number of organic compounds, numerous species, isomerism is extremely common. Not only organic molecules having the same molecular formula have different structures, but also molecules having the same structure have different arrangements in space. In order to determine the different arrangements of organic matter in space, and to be calibrated and named, a series of international regulations have been made. For example, R, S configuration calibration nomenclature is one of them.
