英国国家美术馆,位于英国伦敦市中心特拉法加广场近旁,1834年刚成立时,馆内仅有乔治四世说服政府购买的林布兰、拉尔等人的38幅画作,后来陆续拓展为现在以绘画收藏为主的国家级美术馆。英国国家美术馆分为东南西北四个侧翼,展品以中小尺寸作品为主,按年代顺序展出了从13世纪至19世纪期间多达2300件的世界顶级绘画作品。其中最为著名的就是梵高的《向日葵》,另外还有泰勒的《战舰无畏号》、波提切利的《维纳斯和战神》、达·芬奇的《岩间圣母》,以及莫奈的原作等,都异常珍贵。
National Gallery of the United Kingdom, near downtown Trafalgar Square in London, England. Just in 1834, there were only 38 paintings by George IV to persuade the government to purchase the Rembrandt and Lal et al. National art museum mainly based on painting collection. The National Gallery of Art is divided into four flanks on the southwest, northeast and northwest. The exhibits are mostly medium and small in size, displaying as many as 2,300 world-class paintings from the 13th to the 19th centuries in chronological order. One of the most famous is the Van Gogh’s “sunflower”, in addition to Taylor’s “Battleship”, Botticelli’s “Venus and Ares”, Leonardo da Vinci’s “Madonna of the Rocks,” and Monet The original, etc., are unusually precious.
