To study the UV absorption spectra of the high-iron reagent and its complexes with copper, the formation conditions of the complex and to develop a UV-spectrophotometric method for the determination of copper. The maximum absorption wavelength of the complex was λ = 264nm, the molar absorptivity ε = 7.4 × 104Lmol-1cm-1. Sensitivity than visible light method 7 times higher.
