经过五年的研究和现场试验之后,研制出一种以降低钻井成本为主要目的的“三最”(Tri-Max)新型钻头。“三最”这个商标名称的意思是:最多的总进尺数;最高的机械钻速;最大的安全性。这种“三最”钻尖和同级的三牙轮钻头相比,机械钻速可增加38%。 “三最”钻头在结构和性能上,都和H.R.休斯在1933年研制出来至今还在广泛应用的三牙轮钻头完全不同。“三最”钻头采用整体的钢质本体结构,从侧面看,外形象一个倒置的三角形,上部是一个全尺寸的稳定段,中间是一个圆锥段,下部是一个鼻尖段。钻头体上已取得专利的切削元件结构的排列,与普通三牙轮钻头相比,可以降低钻压而实现自动推进,从而保证把井钻直。“三最”钻头体上的变换应力消除槽促使岩石受拉、剪而破碎;普通三牙轮钻头和金刚石刮刀钻头所固有的岩石破碎机理是受压和受剪。前者比后者有效得多。
After five years of research and field trials, a new “Tri-Max” drill bit has been developed to reduce drilling costs. The meaning of the brand name “Three of the Most” is: the maximum total footage; the highest penetration rate; the maximum security. This “three most” drill tip and its counterpart tricone bit compared to the ROP can increase 38%. The “three most” drill bits are quite different in structure and performance from the tricone bit that H.R. Hughes developed in 1933 and is still widely used today. The “three most” bit features an integral steel body structure that, viewed from the side, looks like an inverted triangle, with the upper part being a full-size stable section with a conical section in the middle and a nose section in the lower section. Drilling bit body has been patented cutting element structure, compared with the ordinary tricone bit, you can reduce the weight on the go and achieve automatic propulsion, so as to ensure the drilling of the well. The transformation stress relief slot in the “three most” bit body causes the rock to be pulled and sheared and broken; the rock crushing mechanism inherent in ordinary tricone bits and diamond blade bits is pressed and sheared. The former is much more effective than the latter.
