我国的机械工业已形成完整的体系,金属切削机床的拥有量已跃居世界第二位,但是这些机床的控制系统还多数为继电器控制,年代久了,故障率高,维修困难,严重地影响了生产,因此急需采用新技术来改造这些旧设备,以较少的投资,较快的速度取得较高的效益,来实现老设备的技术改造。天津市工业自动化仪表研究所与天津拖拉机厂共同协作,用M84PC可编程序控制器(以下简称PC),在不到一个月的时间里,完成了螺旋伞齿轮铣齿机床电器控制系统的技术改造,收到了可喜的效果。下面将用PC改造螺旋伞齿轮铣齿机床的控制系统作一简要介绍。
