时下众多珠宝公司与有关院校都已意识到珠宝市场的竞争就是人才的竞争,纷纷开设珠宝设计课程,从这一点不难看出,设计专业的毕业生渐渐炙手可热。一般课程设置的内容包括如何教导消费者认识值上的4C:颜色、净度、切磨、重量;认识仿制品、合成品、处理品;买卖时应注意的切磨:由开采到零售之间的钻石产销渠道等共22章作业,通过测验合格后给发给结业证书。首饰设计的范围不仅仅是如常人所直接想到的新颖成型的首饰,与珠宝首饰相关连的橱窗设计,店堂陈列、饰品包装等等,都可使一位珠宝设计师在珠宝公司中可以尽情挥洒才情,传达珠宝玉石的美质,营造珠宝文化氛围,使之成为珠宝贸易向前发展的新起点。
