中医认为运动性疲劳的发生是由于运动过度导致体内脏器生理功能紊乱,机体出现暂时性失衡现象。目前较常见的中医对运动性疲劳恢复的手段主要是通过按摩、针灸等物理手段及内外用中医药等疗法对内在各脏器进行调节,使之机能恢复正常状态,但上述方法均具有一定的局限性。经研究发现,长期习练健身气功对机体产生的功效与上述方法的恢复机制大致相同。因此,文章从中医学角度出发,分析了中医对运动性疲劳的认识、健身气功·八段锦对运动性疲劳的恢复及其必要性等方面,提出将健身气功·八段锦作为运动性疲劳的一种全新的恢复手段。
